People are a service organization’s most valuable asset.  They are also typically the most constrained and most frequently misapplied asset. Simply put, people represent supply, and the work for which they are needed determines the demand for those limited resources. Maximizing the use of limited resources and minimizing the impact of demand is vitally important to companies in the services industry.
